PRACTICE MANAGER

Mrs Katherine Miles is the practice manager. She may be able to help you with any administrative or non-medical aspects of the practice. She is also available to discuss any suggestions or complaints you may have.

PRACTICE NURSES

The practice nurses, who are all qualified RGN’s, are available Monday to Friday between 09:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 18:00. We also have a Health Care Assistant who holds her own sessions throughout the week. Please telephone or call in at reception to make an appointment.

DISTRICT NURSES

The team attached to the practice is responsible for nursing care in the community.

Messages can be left on their answerphone. This service is provided by registered nurses and auxillary staff.

To contact them please telephone 01730 811401 between 09:00 – 09:30 if possible.

HEALTH VISITORS / SCHOOL NURSES

The Health Visiting team and School Nursing Service is staffed by registered nurses who have further specialist training particularly relating to expectant mothers, pre-school and school age children. Services include development assessments, child health clinics, counselling and health education. They are available by phone on 01730 811402 between 08:30 – 09:30 each morning and messages can be left on their answerphone.

MIDWIFE

The Community Midwife holds clinics at the Medical Centre on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Appointments and non-urgent messages can be taken at Reception.
