DIABETIC CLINIC
This is held on Tuesday mornings and is run by the practice nurse and Dr Rowena Hill. The secretary is Mrs Carol Goldsmith.Practice Nurses : Sr.Celia Flint and Sr.Lesley Marley
HYPERTENSION CLINIC
This is held every Thursday afternoon. The secretary is Mrs Sarah Maides.
CHILD IMMUNISATION CLINIC
These are held each Monday afternoon by the practice nurse by appointment. The secretary is Mrs Sue Smethurst. Practic Nurse : Sr.Jan Goodman
ASTHMA CLINIC
The asthma clinic is held on each Wednesday afternoon and is run by the practice nurse. The secretary is Mrs Jacky White. Practine Nurse : Sr.Pam Galbraith
DIETICIAN
Referrals to the dietician’s monthly clinic are made through your GP. The secretary is Mrs Sheila Nicholas.
CARDIOVASCULAR CLINIC
These are held every Thursday. The secretary is Mrs Sheila Atkinson. Practice Nurses : Sr.Pam Galbraith and Sr. Lesley Marley
TRAVEL CLINIC
This is run each week by the practice nurse and appointments can be made at reception.Practice Nurse : Sr.Jan Goodman
SPECIMENS SERVICE
Blood samples are collected by the Phlebotomist on most mornings (except Bank Holidays) between 8.30am and 12.30pm. Appointments can be made at Reception. Results are usually available 48 hours later - please call between 2.00pm and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
FAMILY PLANNING
We hold regular Family Planning Clinics. Appointments can be made at reception

ANTENATAL & POSTNATAL CLINICS
All clinics are held in conjunction with the community midwife.
CERVICAL SMEARS
These are recommended for all women between the ages of 25 to 65 as follows:
25 to 49 every three years & 50 to 64 every five years.
This test is performed by the practice nurse in one of our designated smear clinics.
COMPLEMENTARY THERAPY
The Redwood Suite, at the eastern end of the Medical Centre houses a range of therapists including an Osteopath, Chiropractor, aromatherapist, acupuncturist, hypnotherapist and a reflexologist.
All the therapists are available for private consultations and appointments can be made by telephoning.
